Beyond These Walls is a unique program that provides Houston Christian students the opportunity to learn firsthand about other countries and cultures through missions, education, and adventure. The world is our classroom here at Houston Christian High School, and we encourage all our students to take advantage of this philosophy by participating in one of the many trips our school embarks on each year.

Come learn with Houston Christian High School, where education is a journey. Over the past two decades, students have traveled to dozens of destinations off the beaten path to experience culture, grow in leadership, and deepen their spiritual understanding.

Whether for a college visit, fine arts tour, or wilderness challenge, the students of Houston Christian are encouraged to explore and learn from people beyond their sphere of influence. Qualifications for trips vary depending on location and purpose, but we’re certain you’ll find a trail for you to blaze!

Spring Break 2025: Spain & Portugal

Embark on an unforgettable journey across the breathtaking landscapes of Spain and Portugal. Start your trip in the vibrant cities of Madrid and Salamanca, where you can immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage, savor delicious local cuisine, and experience the lively atmosphere of these bustling metropolises. Then, make your way down the stunning Atlantic coastline of Portugal. It is going to be a trip to remember!

Summer 2025: Footsteps of Paul

Embrace the opportunity of a lifetime as you trace the Apostle Paul’s journey on the Footsteps of Paul tour. Experience the Word like never before as the pages of Scripture come to life before your very eyes. You will learn about Paul’s missionary journeys at sites Paul himself visited, tour famous mainland sites including the Acropolis and see Greece’s most famous island Mykonos on a 3-day cruise that follows a piece of Paul’s journey. You won’t want to miss this unique trip experience!
