Kenner Taylor '19
Kenner Taylor ’19 holds a Finance degree from Texas A&M University from the Mays’ Business Honors Program while also lettering in division I tennis. Taylor is currently a Business School’s Master’s in Real Estate student and podcast entrepreneur. The Texas A&M University May’s Business School recently wrote an article about Taylor’s “ability to balance the rigors of an elite academic schedule, collegiate athletics, robust extracurriculars, and entrepreneurship look easy. He may also be one of the nicest, most down-to earth achievers you will ever meet.” Kenner also credits his Houston Christian High School experience and his supportive teachers.
“Houston Christian opened the door for me to confidently step into college with the tools I needed to be successful. I will always be grateful for the leadership and speaking skills I gained through the Distinguished Scholars Program. This made me feel confident in my ability to communicate as I took on leadership positions within Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Maroon Coats. The teachers at Houston Christian poured so much into me. They gave me the skills needed to juggle playing Division I tennis at A&M while completing my undergraduate degree in Finance and my Master of Real Estate. However, one of the most significant things Houston Christian gave me was the desire for adventure. Traveling with some of my closest friends to Croatia through Globe Trek my junior year opened my eyes to the world around me. I now have an insatiable desire to learn, grow, and explore, particularly as I graduate college and pursue my professional career working for the A&M Foundation's Investments team. “
