"Houston Christian taught me the importance of seeing the world through the lens of a Christian worldview. Growing up as a pastor’s kid and attending Christian schools, the reverence and fear of God was placed on me. Regardless of my path, Houston Christian helped me have a constant reminder of God’s calling over my life and helped me learn how to listen to that calling.
The thing I enjoy most about ministry is the fact that I can use my life to make an impact on the lives of others. My experiences have helped shape me into the person I am today. Through my journey, I am excited to now guide HC students' decisions and help them find their true calling.
I am passionate about my career because I know that this is my life’s purpose and calling. I love making disciples of Jesus Christ, and the best part of it is that while I am helping others become more like Jesus, Christ is using that opportunity to make me more like Himself.
Houston Christian inspired my goals and now I am so fortunate to come back on campus and make a positive difference. There were many people who helped guide and mentor me through the toughest years of my life and now I get to come back to this special place and do the same for others."
